Fee Waiver and Reduced Price Meal Program

​Fee Waivers

Families that qualify for the Free and Reduced Price School Meal program may file a ​"Fee Waiver" form with their building principal requesting to have student fees waived. The principal will forward the waiver form with a recommendation to the District Administrator for approval.

The Elkhorn Area School District uses the same standards as the Federal Free and Reduced Price School Meal Program for determining whether or not your child is eligible for a fee waiver. The District will use this information to determine waiver eligibility and to enforce policy and rules concerned with fee collection. The District may disclose this information to law enforcement officials to help them determine misuse of the waiver program. ​

Free and Reduced Price School Meal ​Program

An application for the Free and Reduced Price School Meal program is available via your Family Access Skyward account.

Login to your Family Access account, select a student at the top of the screen and then navigate to the Food Service tab on the left. Click on “Applications” (above the Lunch Calendar link), and then “Add Application.” You only need to submit one application for your family. You do not need to fill out an application for each of your students.

These applications must be filled out annually to continue participation in the programs.
