Advisory Committee

The Community Engagement Advisory Committee serves to make recommendations, provide key information relative to community needs, and present ideas and materials for community engagement.

Community Engagement Advisory Committee Members

The committee consists of seven individuals serving two-year terms. The responsibilities of the committee are as follows:

  • Support the mission, purpose, and value statement of the Elkhorn Area School District

  • Provide ideas and planning, direction and support, and insight into public relations

  • Serve as a complement to the Community Engagement Coordinator, choosing to volunteer or assist with initiatives or programs

  • Focus narrowly on specific programming in order to advise and/or support the Community Engagement Coordinator

  • Provide feedback to the Community Engagement Coordinator, from the community perspective, act as an independent/unbiased sounding board, and assist in determining important activities, programs, and initiatives
